Did anyone think that Tuesday's episode was just plain wierd? I mean, wouldn't it have been better placed as a series finale and not smack dab in the middle of the season? Now that we know the future and everything, will a paradox be created? Will something happen that will save Annie form having that awful voice (personally I was hoping she would have turned into a junkie or hooker, but attention whore was definitely appropriate)? Didn't everyone's future make up look really strange? Matt looked like he had liver spots, very splotchy on the face, and Sean looked like the "gray spray" they put on his hair ran all over his forehead. Plus, Julia said she was going to saty with her mom in New York, but didn't she kill her mother last season?
I'm confused.

Re: "The Future"
Thu, November 16, 2006 - 8:14 PMand they looked way older than twenty years older. I would have guessed 35 years, from the make-up on the men. This was a very flat episode - nothing really new there, even though it was in the future. -

Fri, November 17, 2006 - 7:21 AMI actually came in late to watching the episode and was bored with it - did not bother to watch again when it re-ran. Previews for next week look excellent!!! -

Re: "The Future"
Fri, November 17, 2006 - 12:46 PMHe reminded me of a geriatric Sam from Cheers. I think Christian would be way too vain to look that old.

Re: "The Future"
Fri, November 17, 2006 - 7:53 AMjulia never killed her mom. and the makeup was horrible, but christian did hold true to what his future self will prolly be. in response to the "paradox" I think this episode was just a what if.

Re: "The Future"
Fri, November 17, 2006 - 7:22 PMThank you, Emmy - I'm not the only one who noticed how sloppy Matt's makeup was looking! -

Re: "The Future"
Fri, November 17, 2006 - 8:14 PMJulia never killed her mom? Did she just kill some random plane crash victim and only use that as a symbol of how she feels about her Mommie Dearest? NOthing was ever mentioned of her mother after that episode, except perhaps a randon line in the next show. Still confused about that one.
Regarding Christian, why would such a fashion saavy guy such as himself take to wearing scarves and ascots? He was kind of like Burt Reynolds though :)

Re: "The Future"
Sat, November 18, 2006 - 6:16 AMIt was a weird episode.
Did anyone else notice that Annie was played by the actress who played Jan in the Brady Bunch movie? Same whiney voice, too. I kept expecting her to bust out with "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha!" (or maybe "Conor, Conor, Conor!") -

Re: "The Future"
Sat, November 18, 2006 - 4:43 PMmy husband noticed the Jan/Annie thing too. I was too disturbed by the aging to care. Maybe Kymber had some revenge by injecting them with an aging formula or something. Maybe it was Scientology revenge when Matt left them. I wish she had said "Conner Conner Conner" and he woke up as a baby and it was all someone's stupid dream. Argh. -

Re: "The Future"
Sat, November 18, 2006 - 8:09 PMIt is getting hard to tell when it's someones dream now. I think the writers are on Crack, or maybe need to be. LOL
